Sanitation Technician

Job Description

• Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors
• Gather debris and trash such as cardboard, tape, shrink wrap, paper and damaged product resulting from distribution functions
• Perform chemical testing to determine detergent concentrations
• Must be able to lift 50lbs., climb, work off of ladders and silos in confined places
• Maintain Plant Cleanliness by emptying scrap bins into compactor, clean empty bins, and compact area
• Follow all applicable GMP's for the area in which assigned.
• Report to Sanitation Supervisor on a daily basis

 Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Dependable and reliable attendance
• Ability to work in different controlled climate environments
• Handle a 900 PSI water hose continually
• Lift 10-50 lbs to include moving, lifting, and pushing machinery
• Climb up and down ladders in a daily work schedule
• Stoop and reach overhead (bending & twisting)
• Can follow a SSOP
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation schedules
