Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Loader to join our team in Appleton. As part of our industrial category, this full-time position involves:
Move heavy steel/metal parts (5,000-65,000 lbs.) using overhead cranes,
Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and tuggers to move steel and metal parts weighing 5,000–65,000 lbs.
Load finished products onto trailers, pallets, crates, and flatbed trucks.
Build supports for large pipe loads on trailers.
Unload incoming materials into staging areas.
Prepare metal for painting and blasting by masking, cleaning, sanding, priming, and finishing.
Accurately track time on work orders.
Inspect and maintain material handling equipment.
Attend daily team meetings and communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Adjust work priorities based on production schedules.
Job Requirements
Physically capable of: Lifting/pulling up to 75 lbs, Standing 8-12 hours, Climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces or at heights
Ability to read safety documents, basic blueprints, and work instructions
Strong team player who can also work independently
Forklift and overhead crane experience required
Valid driver’s license preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
