Machine Technician

Job Description

• Coordinate with the Operations Supervisor and other Technicians to optimize safety, quality, and productivity
• Assemble, transfer, install and startup of machinery and equipment prior to production
• Properly identify and transport mold tooling for set up or storage.
• Perform product quality by measuring, weighing, and other required testing. Record results and compare them to required specifications
• Machine Maintenance including lubrications and repairs
• General Plant cleaning and maintenance including grounds, warehouse, parking areas, and garbage removal
• Operate a powered industrial lift truck
• Perform warehouse duties including palletizing, wrapping, and proper storage of products and supplies, and shipping and receiving as needed.
• Perform production operations including trimming, deflashing, flame treating, labeling, assembling, sawing, drilling, final inspection, and packing of products as needed.
• Training and/or assisting new or inexperienced workers

• Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
• Able to work variety of shifts if needed.
• Follow all company rules, regulations and documentation
• Must be able to read and write to receive ongoing training
• Ability to be flexible with line movement and cross training
• Must be able to keep pace with production line
• Reliable and dependable
• Must be able to manage walking, bending, standing, twisting, and lifting regularly through the working shift
