Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Material Painter to join our team in Appleton. As part of our industrial category, this full-time position involves:
Apply industrial coatings using airless and conventional spray equipment.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, inspecting, masking, and performing required prep work.
Mix paints according to specifications and verify coating thickness using wet mil gauges.
Inspect finished work to ensure quality, coverage, and compliance with project requirements.
Maintain paint equipment, work areas, and inventory while following proper waste disposal procedures.
Complete required documentation, track time accurately, and support related paint and blast preparation activities.
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements, including respirator use when necessary.
Job Requirements
Industrial wet paint experience required; experience with airless spray systems and zinc, epoxy, and urethane coatings preferred.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods (8–12 hours).
Ability to read and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and paint data sheets.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and meeting deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
